Welcome to Harmonic Wellness new series of classes on Wellness. 

What does the word Wellness or Health mean to you?   Do you know what it feels like to have your body in balance, to really feel energy from the inside out?  Do you know what it feels like to know that your body is functioning at it’s optimal level?  Let’s learn together how to make that happen for you!  

This class is not a weight loss class however, we will talk about strategies to help us be healthier in 2019 which will affect our weight and how we feel about ourselves.    It will be your choice if you want to weigh in each week and keep track of your measurements.  

The class series is $75 per person.  This covers all class materials and handouts.  At times there may be additional fees for separate workshop type events that you can opt into.    The $75 fee also  includes a complimentary 30 minute consultation with Hollie Schipper, Naturopathic Practitioner to enable your success.  

If you choose to come to individual classes and not the whole series the individual classes are $10. 


Weekly Class Descriptions


Class 1:  Wellness = Balance
What does the word Wellness or Health mean to you?   Do you know what it feels like to have your body in balance, to really feel energy from the inside out?  Do you know what it feels like to know that your body is functioning at its optimal level?  Let’s learn together how to make that happen for 2019.

Class 2:  The Importance of Detoxification

We live in a toxic world.  We are constantly bombarded with toxins from our environment including our clothing, home environment, the air we breathe, and electronics.  The long term effects of some of these are known, others are unknown.  The Center for Disease control published a report in 2015 that makes it clear that every human carries a chemical burden in their system.   The longer we are exposed to toxic elements and do nothing the sicker we will get. 

What can we do to mitigate this toxic stress?  How can you make your environment, the food you eat, and the air you breathe healthier for you and your family?  What can you do about the toxic buildup in your own body?   

In this class we will provide specific steps for you to start your wellness journey in 2019 and to specifically start detoxing your body.  

Class 3:  The importance of Digestion 

What is digestion and why is it so important for your overall health?  Do you have issues with digestion, irritable bowel, fibromyalgia, blood pressure issues, headaches, PMS, anxiety, dry skin?  How are these all related to digestion?   

Eating the right foods is not enough.  Many times we are not able to properly digest, absorb and assimilate the food we are consuming. This may cause our your body to become nutritionally out of balance.

Class 4:  Why you must love your liver! 

Do you realize how much your liver does? Are you tired?  Toxic?  Anemic?  Have Digestive issues?  Hormonal Issues?   Then, maybe you aren’t giving the care and attention to your liver and overall health that you need to.  

Let’s learn about the liver, the important functions that it does and what you can do to make it more efficient so you can be healthier!  

Class 5:   Emotions and Energy Health

How do your emotions and overall energy effect our health?  At this class we will have energy practitioner Rene Deal talk to us about how important the emotions and overall energy are to our health.  

Class 6:  The Importance of Protein

Are you eating enough protein?   Are you actually digesting the protein that you eat?  Are you constantly tired?  Do you have swelling in your ankles?  Are your cold?  Do you experience muscle cramps or PMS?  You may not be getting enough protein that your body can use.    Why is that important in today’s world of vegetarianism, paleo, keto, and many other strategies for health?   It’s important to understand how protein works and why it is as important as Carbohydrates and Lipids in our diet.  

Class 7:   The Healthy Heart

Everyone wants a healthy heart, right?  We see our parents, siblings, and friends start out with blood pressure issues or maybe are experiencing this ourselves.  What is the truth about cholesterol?  What does lack of nutrition have to do with heart disease?   Let’s get the facts and learn how to be truly heart healthy for our future.  

Class 8:  Sugar and Simple Carbohydrates

You crave sweets.  You crave starches.  You can’t put the bag of potato chips down.  Just one cookie is never enough. The ice cream just disappeared.  What happened?    Let’s talk about how our lifestyle and habits affect our health.  What is metabolic dysfunction?  How can you change your risk factors for disease?  What does your body really need to function optimally?  

Class 9:  Stress 

We all have stress.  Could that anger or inability to concentrate be traced to nutritional issues?  How important is what you eat important to your overall health?  What if you are not digesting or absorbing your food?  Could that be affecting your moods and how you react?   The mind body connection is very important to establishing balance in your iife, your digestion and overall health.   

Class 10:  Endocrine System and Hormones 

What do infertility, hormonal issues, muscle cramps, PMS, and headaches have to do with Digestion?   How can any or all of those be related to what you eat and what you digest?  

Class 11:   Eating Mindfully 

Eating healthy for life is a choice.  What have you done during the last 10 weeks to change your eating habits and choices?  How can we do better?  It is not about restriction it is about new and healthier choices that make a difference every day and for the long term.    Why is planning important?   What actions have been most effective and how can we create new habits?  

Class 12:  Refresh & Replenish 

We have made some great changes during this last 12 weeks.  Slow and steady wins the race!  It’s important to evaluate and look at what has worked and how you can continue the journey to real health and balance for you.   Let’s talk about how to maintain the journey and staying on track.  Instead of saying ‘no’, let’s talk about saying ‘yes’!
